  • Prop Size Question

I have a 245 Robalo with twin Yamaha 150s...not looking for high top end speed with gas prices the way they are..the current props I have are the incorrect size, any recommedation on prop size...i would like to run between 3500 and 4500 rpms....someone mentioned a 14.25 x 17...also I will be going with aluminum over SS, save the money and the shaft!

    Thanks!!!

Not enough information. What pitch and rpm are you getting at WOT?

The F150 has to run as close as possible to 6000 rpm at wot or the engine will lug and make oil. Once you have that correct you can run the engines at the best RPM for economy.

If you want any input from us we still need to know what props you are running and what RPM you are getting at WOT
