  • f115 rough as a cob

I just took my 02 F115 out for a shake down and it failed. It seems to run OK a lower rpms, up to a bout 4k. When I try to go wot, 6k, it spits, sputters, and bogs down. I ran it for a bout 40 minutes on the river at various speeds. I already cleaned and gapped the plugs after burning out the fogging oil. It has a fresh 10 mic fuel filter and a new primer bulb. Is there anything else I can do myself? Can anyone tell me what some of the possibilities are so I can talk intelligently when I take it to the shop? Thanks

classic symptom of low fuel rail pressure or a clogged injector filter.

what typically causes low fuel rail pressure? In my case referring to a relatively new motor. It is 1 year old with less than 10 hours.

          typically?
its a toss up between clogged filters ahead of the VST or the VST filter is clogged.
          why?
