150 (94 model) battery warning light

i have done a forum search, but cant find assistance.

My 150 (94 model) recently had the gearbox removed for repairs to the skeg, since then (related or not) the battery light flashes on the gauge. teh battery is being charged, as i ran 4 days of continious on/off use without issue, however cant figure out why the warning light is on!

any leads?

Have the alternator system tested, check the voltage at gauge.

someplace between the battery + and - leads and the speedometer + and - leads you have a voltage drop.

ok, so cleaned up the terminals and all connections. Topped up battery (level was low) and gave it an overnight external charge. All good after
