Poppet valve?

i have an '89 yamaha 200 2-stroke( 200 etxf ) After reading tens of posts about the PRV ive understood thats the problem im having. Ive seen a diagram but it was for a 90 hp. and the is no prv in my t-stats housing. Ive been told it was at the bottom of the motor and i cant seem to find it. Any pics or advice would be great. thanks SeaOx204 out
