Yamaha 135 Exciter

I have an exciter boat from Yamaha with 2 135 yamaha jet boat engines. I have changed the filters and one motor will not pick up gas. I can poor gas in the carbs and the eng will run. what might be the problem.

bad fuel pump, bad connection causing pump to suck air instead of fuel, plugged filters

Yep, just happened to me. In my case I had the filter too tight and the gasket must have distorted. Loosened it up and put it back on with maybe 3/4 turn after gasket contact.
