  • Info on Purchasing Peak Voltage Test Harness

    Hi guys,
I have twin F100's carburetor 1999 models. Yamaha service manual lists the parts as YB-06443, YB-38832, YB-06770. One of these is for testing the peak voltage for adjusting the TBS throttle body sensor. After carburetor rebuild, one motor runs fine but the other has a flat spot on acceleration. Does anyone know where I can locate these parts so I can adjust the TBS throttle body sensor? I really appreciate any feedback or help.

    Thanks, Slimey Mike

you dont need a peak voltage adapter to test TPS voltage.
a pair of paper clips and a voltmeter work.
however the engine must be running to test the TPS.
your also dealing with a fuel issue NOT a TPS issue.

Thanks for the feedback. On further checking, I think I might be getting a little air in the system. Main fuel tank may be low. Gonna try it again with a small fuel tank. I replaced my fuel lines with Tygon; an ethanol resistant fuel line from Sierra Marine. They are transparent & I could see air bubbles in the system. Some fresher fuel might help. Thanks again....Mike
