Tilt and Trim, o/board fails to go all the way down

Outboard will not go all the way down, about 95 % of the way. Hydraulic motor sounds fine. Any thoughts?

Open up 17mm fill

to burp it of air, check oil level. The sides might need some grease if there rubbing. Get your flashlight out and check why it's not going down. Assuming your boat is on trailer.

I take it you are still talking about that old 70
It is a good idea to state the model # when asking questions.

There is normally a pin that is movable that the motor comes down and rests on, is it hitting that?
