  • Pro-V and Power Tech Prop?

I ordered a new Power Tech 17p prop to replace my current Tempest 23p, I removed the Tempest and installed the Power Tech using the same brass spacers that were on the Tempest and there was IMO too much slop in the new prop. Where/ or do I need to get new brass spacers?

Did you check with the place you got the new prop?
Why are you making such a drastic change in props?

I have a 23' Tunnel Vee Center Console w/ 8" jack plate. I was told that this new prop would be much more suitable to my set up than what I previously had. The motor had been rigged on a 19' bass boat.

Here is a site that shows how a lot of different boats were set up, you can always check to see if they have a rig like yours and what prop they used, the RPMs and other info they got.

Like I said check with the place you got the prop and make sure the prop is for your motor and what all is needed. some props had different hubs
