Need help. 150 4 stroke 2005 engine dies at full or idle throttle and ther is no power at my key or trim etc. I take cowl off and have 12 volts at the starter but nothing at the key. I can take a screwdriver and turn starter over at the engine and I will get 12 volts back to the key and crank engine again. Have looked for shorts fuse problems etc. Help anyone

Sounds like a loose connection.
start looking and testing with a meter at the battery and work yourself on down the line
