  • Adding second control station

I have a 2001 Yamaha V225 OX66 Saltwater Series II outboard. I am trying to run a second control station to a tower. I have been advised that the best way is to switch out my current binacle (704 Yamaha) and replace it with a dual morse control as well as add a second morse control to the tower. I was also advised that Yamaha makes a conversion kit?, and that you can use a Yamaha 409 binacle? After getting 2 sets of advice, I am wondering what the RIGHT way to add a second control station is. Thanks.

Yamaha,Glendinning,Morse and a few others make an electic shift twin station control.
the 704 box cannot be used for twin station.
the kits run about 5000 dollars.
my 21 seapro with an F150 and twin stations works very well with 2 morse mechanical boxs.
trick is to use the yamaha premium cable or its equivalent.
them cheapo cables simply tend to tear up shift clutchs.
