  • alarm buzzer

    I have a 2002 130hp motor with 300hrs with an intermitent problem
After driving the boat for 10-15 mins the alarm sounds
I switch off and can start back up within a couple of
seconds and can run for another 10-15mins or longer
It seems to be worse when the engine revs are above
    4000-4500revs
I have changed the water pump, spark plugs, fuel seperator,
    fuel filter
Any thing else I can do

    Many thanks

you need to find out if it is oil level alarm or a over temperature alarm.
Try checking the oil level while alarm is sounding to see if it is low.

As far as temp goes you could have a bad thermostat or bad temperature switch.
pull them and test in a pot of water as you heat it to see what temps they do there thing
