Noticed my battery's where low and would not start motor BUT would turn over the flywheel. being old I replaced them and changed my cables, checked the multi switch and cleaned. Went to start and flywheel will not turn. pulled the plugs. Tried with my hand won't turn replaced the started. still will not turn. HELP. Everything ingages and will turn one tooth maybe. I put oil in the plugs and got alittle turn but not enough to start.

Drop the lower unit to see if that is what is locked up.
If not then you have some major problem with the power head -
Droping the lower unit today, I did check the prop and it turns but makes a rachet noise.Comment

flying teeth got the better of me today, I'll get back on line after the deed is done. You should never use the words DEET and HAWAII in the same sentence.
