  • Prop Size Help

I have a single 1994 SW Series 150hp on a boat I just bought. The prop that is on there is totally wrong. Only getting to 4200 rpm trimmed all the way down. Barely getting on plane. The prop that is on there is 20 x 17 i believe. The previous owner broke 15.25 x 15 just before i bought and the current is a temp for test so to spek just to check engine. The boat is a 1990 2350 Pursuit WA w/ about 600lbs of top on it. Any help out there.

Thats a lot of boat for a single F150. I would test with with a 15 pitch.

Thanks. I fished off the boat prior to buying it when the 15.25 x 15 was on there and it ran as good as a single 150 could i guess. I have all the rigging, hydraulic steering, lower end & prop for a second 150 SW series, but need the power head. Putting more power on it will be down the road a little.

Sorry, force of habit, mine is F150, four stroke. Not sure about yours.
