This is kind of a doozy of a first post but figured I'd ask. I am having a new jet boat built for running the rivers up here in Northwest washington. I'm looking to put a 225 VMax SHO on the back. The 2 questions I have is I need to put a tiller handle on it and a jet pump.
First, what tiller handle do I need? I believe the new multi-function tiller PN# 6X4-42101-00-00 should do it but not sure about which fitting kit I need?
Second, as long as the crankshaft and mid housing bolt pattern from the new vmax sho are the same as the ones off the F200, F225, F250 I should be able to use an AQ jet unit from Outboard Jets. Can anyone verify or know if the parts and patterns are the same.
