Trim gauge + trim sender 140ALTO v4 2 stroke 1987

Hi

I have a Yamaha 140ALTO v4 2 stroke 1987

My trim indication isn’t working

On the trim sender there is 5vdc on Orange wire and ground on black wire, but pink wire is constant 2,5vdc. (also a grey wire but NC)

So my conclusion is the trim sender is defect, agree?

Will the existing old Tachometer with oil level and trim work with a new type “6G5-83672-00-00 Trim sender” ?

Or do I need to buy “6y5-83500-t2” to make the new trim sender work? But will the Tachometer and oil level work with the old motor harness?

We don't have that model motor here in USA and don't have any manuals on it.

Hi, But the 4 wire trim indicater should be identical on the 1987 2stroke series, as far i have discovered. So if you compare manuals on the 115 V4 ?
