Yamaha 25 hp Electric start remote problem

I bought a slightly older model 2 stroke 252 hp elec start outboard.
The marina got me a backordered remote control unit
703-48207-18-10
The problem is that the engine connector is a 7-pin round male and the remote connector is a 10 pin female (3-4-3) So I can't hook them up.
Did the Marina guys mess up?
or is there an adapter that I need and don't have?
any help would be appreciated

I have the opposite problem. I purchased a new T9.9 GEXH which has a 10 pin male end that I need to connect to a 7 pin female remote end.

Yamaha doesn't offer an adapter for that, need to use a control box with 10 pin harness.
