03 vx250. Started off the morning great made a few stops and then we were running to the next hole, motor shuts down. We checked all connections and did what we could on the water. Motor cranks but will not fire. Towed in 14miles. Put a meter on the high pressure fuel pump reading is 10.86. But you dont hear the motor when the key is on. Dropped the vst tank, full of fuel, filter changed 2 months/10 hours ago. My question is how do you know for certain if the pump is shot? After dropping the vst I reconnected the pump and held in hand with the key on and nothing. Switched polarity still nothing. Before I drop $800 want to make sure the pump is bad.

can you post a pic of the pump
too test just put a couple of jumpers on the a 12 volt battery put some wd 40 in it so as it does not run dry........... $ ouch 800 bucks. -

Had the dealership double check the pump to make sure and it's dead!
