F15ESHB 03 Yahmaha Idling Problem

Having trouble with engine idle. Engine has sat for over a year. Using regular 86 octane gas. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I was told to start using non-ethanol and to install a water separator or replace the in-line filter. Please help if you can! Know nothing of engines! Thanks.

yes do not use e 10 if you can help it water filter is good but leave the other one as well just get a glass bowl type and put it on the boat.
you may have to clean the carb

also run fuel stabilizer
