  • 60hp TLRA re-jet to 70hp?

    HI All, New guy here.

I've got a 2002 60hp 2 stroke. Specs say the block is identical to the 70hp, same year..
Now, looking at differences of the carbs, I come up with different jets. (obviously)
My question is If I re-jet, am i asking for trouble in screwing something else up or will the extra 10 ponies show up with just changing the jets?

    Any other differences?

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks-

Sorry, I thought this might be a good place to ask the question.

Can someone recommend a place to ask a question about Yamaha outboards?
