  • Signal Wire Connection – Command Link Tach

I will be installing an F70, 703 side mount control box, and Command Link square tach. I have no place for a multi-hub at the transom, so on the motor side I will be using the in-line hub, p/n 6Y8-81920-11-00 to connect the motor directly to the main bus wire.

I am not sure how the trim signal connects. The Command Link Service Guide, page 15-36, is apparently badly translated or garbled. It says “Connect the pink lead coupler (white: 1-pin) each other. This is to input the trim signal into the ECU to show the trim signal on the tachometer.” Can anyone shed any light on how to hook this up?

    Thanks a lot!

There is a pink wire laying in bottom engine cowling that is not connected togather, need to connect the two pink wires togather when using Command Link Gauges.
