  • Alarm at full throttle after ~2 min

Hello- I have a yamaha 150 2-stroke. Recently an alarm sounds at full throttle after about 2 min. The engine is not overheating and is pissing fine. At time when I turn the ignition off, the engine continues to run. Once the alarm sound stops, the boat runs fine. The alarm only occurs at high speed/full throttle. Is this possibly a wiring issue?

Analog gauges. I'm not certain of the year on the motor. I can check the serial # if necessary.

Pull and test the thermostats and the temp switches to see if working correctly
