had dirty fuel in boat, motor would bogg down at high end rpm,& stall when pulling into slip. changed all filters inc. vst , sprayed out inj.& drained / flushed out fuel tank, added fresh fuel and was running great for about 6 weeks. then motor did same as before, also stalled while up on plane (aprox. 4500rpm) twice on way back to dock. emptyed 10 mic water sep. & found same fine sandy looking substance as before. my alum. tank is the culprit on my 1989 wellcraft.(friends 3 yr. old grady 10 mic. is very clean on his boat,buys fuel at same marina as me all season) have since changed : fuel tank,all lines incl. vent & prime bulb,all filters again incl. vst,(cleaned fuel psi. reg. screen,very dirty, did not check last time,) sent injectors out to be cleaned & flow tested. reinstalled inj. & started up at dock, idle stayed high (1100 rpm) after plenty of warm up time, also is running rich now, getting sheen on water. any ideas what would cause this ? boat was at yamaha dealer last august & had sync.& link done, also had oxygen sensor replaced. thanks for any help.
