I am getting close to resolving the power issues i think.
i have taken the fuel rail off and removed the injectors.
They definatley were dirty.
I took carb cleaner sprayed them off then blew 120psi air in the oppisite dirrection of fuel flow.
A bunch of black specs came out of a few of them.
Reinstalled fuel injectors and fuel rail.
Went for a water test.
The boat jumped out of the hole and hit top speed.
I looked down and the rpms were at 6800.
It didn't sound like they were that high?
i backed off the rpms and rode around for a few minutes.
It was almost dark so headed back in.
Wot the rpms went to 6200?
I checked the prop it isn't slipping. I could barley turn it when it was in gear and could not turn it the oppisite direction at all.(f115)
Does anyone have any clear pics of a thier fuel rail and inejctors?
I am wondering if i reinstalled something incorrectly?
I am finding little black specs in the bowl filter on the back of the motor but not in the fuel water seperator?
This can only mean it is a hose after the fuel water seperator?(10micron)
I have replaced all of the hoses that are easy access and the remaing hoses are synethitic. Synthetic hoses are not black inside. I guess i will see if i get any more debri. Any ides?
