My 115 does not have the trim & tilt switch on the motor could i install this myself and what do i need to install this

You can add a T/T switch yourself, but it will take some careful cutting and filing of the lower cowling. I recommend that you try to add the factory switch - go look at the motor drawings at boats.net and find the first year after yours was manufactured and order that T/T switch. Try to find a 115 that has the switch mounted to see how it was done - size hole, etc. The switch should be type "double pole - double throw - momentary with center position off". You wire it in parallel to the existing T/T switch. In fact, you could wire in as many T/T switches in parallel as you wanted - another up front in the bow for instance. You might want to check with a marine mechanic to do this - someone who has done it before if you feel you are in over your head.
