  • Propeller Nut

    I am looking for a propeller nut for a 2001, 100HP 4 stroke.
I have been to 4 different boat suppliers.
The "Book Listed" nut is the wrong size, it is too big. The book listed nut appears to be 7/8. The actual size I need is 5/8. But I can not seem to find one. Has any one come across this same situation?

It should come off after the wing nut is removed. It is probably just stuck and will require working it off. Work it back and forth if you can or tap on it with a hammer using a small block of wood as a buffer to prevent damage to the prop.

Could someone have replaced lower unit with something nonfactory?

Should be metric if it comes from Yamaha, if aftermarket then it may not be
