  • 200 HPDI T/Trim switch replacement

I have the 200 hpdi with the down trim on the throttle inoperative, the up functions normally. The trim still functions with the local switch on the motor. The throttle assembly mounts to the side of the gunnel. I would like to remove the switch but can't easily get to the back side of the throttle assembly. Can the switch be removed without removing the entire assembly? I would assume?? that since the up down on the local switch works all the relays, and hydraulics are ok.
    Thanks in advance. Jim

You have to remove lever off of control box then you can take the screw out of backside of lever to get the switch out. If it is flush mount control box remove the rubber plug in center of lever to get to screws, if it's a side mount control box remove the control box from gunnel and the lever is held on by a bolt on backside of control box.

Thank you, I will check this out tomorrow. I have removed the rubber plug and saw the screws. I have the flush mount system. Thanks again. Jim
