70 HP fluid question

How do I check the fluid level for the power lift on my 70HP Yamaha, and what type of fluid do I use to fill if it is low.

Trim motor up all the way, remove reservoir plug and fill to level full. Use Yamaha power trim fluid or Dextron II automatic transmission fluid.
