  • Water Pressure Gauge Adjustment

I have a '98 200 TLRX which I had the water pump changed the end of last year. I have noticed since then the few time I have run the motor, the water pressure gauge on the console is resting at around 20 psi when the engine is not running or idling. It will peg out at 30psi+ when I am running the engine. The engine is running just fine does not seem to be overheating. I have good water stream from the port on the engine. Is there something I can adjust or do I need to take it back to the mechanic. I would rather fix it myself. I hope I did this right since it is my first post.

Sounds like you have a bad gauge or possible kinked pressure tubing going to gauge.
