Power Trim

I have a 250 Yamaha the trim switch is working fine but it dose not read on the digital gauge everything else works on the gauge

Check trim sender on engine bracket, should be able to move up and down by hand, the newer models have a trim cam mounting on tilt tube that activates trim sender, see if it's broken.
