  • fuel tank check valve

I have just removed the check valve in my fuel tank, as I have been suspecting fuel delevery issues. Seems to me the only purpouse of this valve is to keep fuel from draining back into tank and to help in priming fuel lines. after removing valve i had to pump my ball for about 75 pumps before lines were primed. however after lines were primed they stayed primed all day long with several engine shut offs. seems to me outside of the tough time to get a prime the flow is vastly improved. wadathink??

It's an anti-siphon valve to prevent fuel from being siphoned out in case of a fuel leak.
