Steering problem

recently purchased a new 25hp Elect start Yamaha outboard with forward controls...
Am dissapointed in Left Hand turn capability , also as manual throttle arm still attached it does not throttle back properly.
Does anyone know of a fix for the above. thank you Bruce.

Do you have remote control box and remote steering or do you have tiller handle on motor to steer and throttle?
