I currently running a 13 1/4 x 19in props. On a 23 foot polar walk around with twin f115. Cruise at 4500rpm @30mph. I burn about 11-12 gallons an hour at this speed. Would a 4 blade give me better speed. What size prop if i use a 4 blade? Thanks
Generally the 4 blades give less mph than the 3 blades, the 4 blade will give it better hole shot.
You need to drop down in pitch when going to 4 blade, may try 1 18 pitch.
