  • Carb had water, now corrosion inside -

Is there someone that could please tell me how to clean it?

It's a Yamaha P60 Pro. There is corrosion in the bottom of the pan and some in the jets, etc.
    Thanks.

Take it to your dealer and let them look at it.
It has to be soaked in carb cleaner or an ultra sonic cleaner

If you don't have one already, go to www.YamahaPubs.com and order a shop manual for your motor. It will have details on rebuilding the carbs in there. For an off the shelf carb cleaner I would recommend Berryman's Chemtool spray available at Wal-Mart or just about any other autoparts store out there. If you have access to Amsoil products they make a great carb cleaner called PowerFoam that gets in there and bubbles up to break the junk loose and really clean everything out. Some autoparts stores (PepBoys) will have the carb cleaner in the gallon cans that you can soak the whole carb in, this sounds like a case where you might want to soak the whole carb. Do you have a Racor fuel/water seperator installed on your boat? It will block water from getting to your carb in the first place, every boat should have one for each engine. Good luck ......
