15 hp yamaha outboard

Was out in the boat yesterday and on the way in the boat would move under idle but a soon as I throtled the motor reved but did not go anywhere any ideas

May have a spun hub in prop, may need to have prop rehubed.

prop seems tight all spines look fine cant move in gear by hand

Mark a line across hub of prop and prop washer, take boat out and run it. If lines stays aligned then prop hub is ok, if not hub is bad.
