Tilt trim Check Valve replacement

2003 F90 TJRB part number 67F-43802-00-00 Check Valave sub assy

A question please.

1) How do you get the old check valve out ?


My engine will go up or down fine but will slowly sink down and not stay in place once tilted /trimmed into runnning position.

I have tried brining the engine all the way up / removing the fill plug to let air out of the system.

It could be any number of valves inside unit, might start removing and checking the manual release valve to make sure it is not leaking.

I did remove the manual check valve. The little ball bearing fell out, I put it back looked the the piece that screws in and it looked fine.

What eles should I do.

How to you get the rest of the manual check valve out ? Are there instructions on removing this and the other check valves ?

You need to get a service manual before taking it apart, it probably valves not seating or leaking orings but it's hard to say which one.
