1986 Yamaha 40 HP ELJ problem with oil pump and/or oil tank. LED's on the front of the motor do not light, oil from tank goes to pump, only air bubbles are seen in the clear hoses going to the injection point behind the carburetor.
Is this a failure of the Oil Pump? Does the Oil pump have to operate for the LED's to work?
How do you disconnect the Oil pump and do you need to plug the injector points on the carbureter?
