Replacing spark plug wire boots and springs

I have a 1992 40hp Yamaha outboard and I want to replace the boots and springs on the spark plug wires. Is there a trick on attaching the boots and springs to the existing wires? Since the spark plugs are made into coil and can not be replaced, I can not buy the boots and springs already attached to the wires without buying the coil.

You just push the pointed wire on spring through plug wire and then bend end back towards spring. Lube the spring and push boot over spring onto wire.
