I was doing a search of past posts and found a thread about the HPDI 250Z . The theme of the thread was this motor's unreliabitity. One poster even said that the 250 was the Yamaha's worst engine.
I have a 2003 HPDI 250 ZL with around 200 hours on it. I bought it used from a dealer and he said that they installed all the available software upgrades to the engines computer. It runs very well and I have had no problems with it. Am I concerned for no reason?
Since this motor has been around for a while, does history pove the unreliable reputation? Is anyone else experienced any problems? If there are flaws with this engine thay should their ugly head somewhere sometime.
