Digital tach shows only yellow

I have a 250txrr. The oil delivery system works fine. The indicator on the tach never goes to green. Is there a way that I can jumper some wires that will tell the tach that all is ok, so that the green indicator will work. If I can rule out the tach I will move on to the remote tank sender. Any help is greatly appreciated.
