Loctite® Products-Updates/Substitutions

In my Yamaha service manual there is a page that indicates the grade of sealing and locking agents. Three of the products are Loctite®. While reassembling my motor I could not find one of the products. Now I see there are new and/or upgraded products that replace the Yamaha recommended products.

The old products and their replacements are as follows respectively:

1. Loctite® 242 - Loctite® 243
2. Loctite® 271 - Loctite® 263
3. Loctite® 272 - Loctite® 267 or 277
