While warming up the engine in prep for winter I noticed a fair amount of water "percolating" up out of the top of the lower unit. The top arrow shows where. The bottom arrow shows where one of two streams on each side is also leaking out water. It may be normal, but I don't remember seeing these streams before. The usual weep hole was spurting water as normal.
Has a seal or something gone bad in the lower unit? Any suggestions on where to start checking things if it IS abnormal?
(I have a short video that makes it easier to see, but it won't let me up load it).
