Hope someone can help. picked up this motor for my duck boat, ran good has good compression. Etc. when I put in gear at low RPM it make a metal to metal noise. Sound like it’s jumping in annd out l gear, if I increase the RPMs somewhat. It seems to go away but not completely. I checked throttle adjustments and it seem all aligned.
is this normal. This is a brand new lower unit because I thought the old one was toast. I have attached a few video.
