We have a 2000 F115TLRY with some idling issues. We plugged in the light to read the blink codes. According to the owners manual it states it should blink once every 5 seconds. However, we just get one blink on start up then nothing else. Can anyone chime in who has successfully used the blink codes on this era 115?

I have not personally used the blink codes for an F115TLRY but I will chime in anyway. Otherwise you may not get any response(s) at all.
The absence of a trouble code tends to make me think there are none. Even if the code for normal is not being displayed as it is supposed to do.
To verify if the trouble codes are being accurately reported I would simulate an actual problem. Then see if the ECU outputs the correct trouble code for the induced fault.
