I don't think so as the F30 is a three cylinder meaning that the F25 is not a de-tuned F30Last edited by greasyshaft; 07-24-2015, 08:48 PM.

Your EXACT model # would help but here's the parts fisch for the intake for an 2005 F25

This above engine, is a two cylinder... That's why MODEL # 's are critical

Rumor has it that if the restrictor plate is removed your model will become an F50. The HP will double. At least.
Some remove the existing intake system completely and install an air pipe that goes directly from outside the cowling to the air inlet of the carburetor. They are reporting an additional 30 or more HP. So much torque is produced that you have to be gentle when advancing the throttle.

Restrictor plate
The info on the tag says f25 tlr 65w L 1033753 J. If it has a plate and it is removed will it safely increase hp or is this an Internet rumor

Restrictor plate
Thanks for all the info. I have followed the discussion about this and decided to leave the engine as built even if it has a restrictor plate and not risk possible damage that may occur.
