Advise on plotter/fishfinder best for Yam engines

Hi-I'm looking for suggestions on which plotter/sounder to go for that can display my yam F250 Detx 2001 4.2 engine output data. I want a good plotter but only need basic sounder. Has anybody got any opinions as which they prefer? (9inch screen) Thanks

Any "NMEA 2000 capable" plotter can display the basic engine data in the devices own style
Not every brand/model is capable of the Yamaha "emulation' screen,
and of those,
all except the Garmin GPSMAP with "J1939" port
require that the connection be via a Yamaha Gateway device.

I have experience only with Garmin -
both the 7600 and most recently the 943xsv
and am completely satisfied with the engine data display capability

although while I tried the Yamaha screen, I didn't like it -
I use the device's generic display
