Please let me know, I have a 2000 200 hp vmax that is hard starting, it will then run rough and stall. If I get it to run at higher RPM it looses power...
I replace the spark plugs, spin on filter cart raise filter on engine and the vst filter
i also tested the fuel pressure, on the key 40 psi then when the engine starts it goes down to 35 seemed to flutter a little then stall
if I goosed up the throttle occasionally the pressure rose to 40 but didn’t stay
I did a bunch of searching but I can’t find an exact answer of what my fuel pressures should be
please let me know if you have any input, I really don’t have the $600 to just part swap on a HP pump
