Hi all.
I need some help please.
I have an old 1984 140 V4 which I picked up at auction. I have rebuilt the motor as it was siezed. Everything seems in fair condition and I had it running, all be it really rough.
Unfortunately it has now lost spark on cylinders 2 and 4.
I checked all the resistances - all within spec.
When checking the output voltage all were as specified, exceptthere was no popential between the white/green and earth supplies from the pulser coil.
Can anyone confirm my diagnosis?
Also, anyone know where I can get a new unit as they have been discontinued? Even just the pick-ups will be okay.
