Good afternoon,
Just bought my first Yamaha outboard and I'm very excited to get it all rigged on my flats boat. My father has been running Yamaha's for years and we've always been very happy with them.
The motor I bought came with the 703 side mount controls, and I want to put the 704 top mount on my boat.
So my questions are is there a conversion harness to reuse the 703 harness, or do I need to purchase a new one and if so which harness do I need?
Is there a certain key switch that I need to buy?
Which tach should I purchase?
Is there anything I'm leaving out?
Can't wait to get this beast mounted on my boat and get back out on the water.
