Just bought the boat but having issues with the motor
idles fine but when I go to engage and throttle up to ride around it starts to sputter and usually cuts off. Sometimes I can often try and throttle up faster but the rpm's will shoot up but the boat will not move (could it be a linkage problem?) We've taken the carbs out and cleaned them and everything seemed to be looking ok along with the sparkplugs. Figured it has to be fuel, fire or an air problem just wanted to see what yall thought.
