Issue: Went out Saturday, engine runs strong and tops off around 5800 RPM as usual - sounds great. After a 12 mile run and pulling back, noticed when advancing the 704 Control throttle, would top off at 4700 RPM. Still sounded fine and ran great for next 3 hours, except couldn't get to historical 5800 RPM top end. When pushing throttle up at 4700 (looking for that last 15%), RPMs would drop to 4500, 4200 and hang there. Don't know if there is some mechanical slippage occuring at Control Box or on outboard. Repeat - engine runs great, sounds great . . . just can't get past the 4700 RPM mark now. Idease?

Can you be more specific on "fix your fuel issue"? The 115 runs smooth, no sputter or burps. New fuel / water separator.

you can simply look at the linkage on the engine to see if its fully open.
my bet is a clogged VST filter or low rail pressure or partially clogged injector filters.
